Most commonly called “throwaway filters”, these are the fiberglass weave or “hog hair” filters that are designed to meet the minimum requirements of protecting your air handler and its components.
Fiberglass air filters are made from a heavy duty layer of fiberglass or manmade fiber. These filters are intended to be used for 30 days and then replaced. |

Pleated Panel filters outperform ordinary furnace filters with higher efficiency and lower pressure drop, allowing air-handling systems to stay cleaner and operate more efficiently. |

Heating and Air Conditioning
Warranty Coverage (1 to 2 years from the date of original settlement) Your statutory warranty should cover the repair of your heating and air conditioning system during your warranty period, providing you maintain the system properly.
Filters
Your furnace filter has two primary functions: (1) capturing dust and other allergens to provide acceptable air quality for your home and (2) preventing dust build-up on your systems’ heat exchanger and coils which can lead to decreased performance and eventual system break-down.
You should change your HVAC filter per the manufacturers’ specification for the type of filter you are using. |
